Presenting at Microsoft Ignite 2016

For those that read my blog, I would like to apologize for not blogging much this year. My main focus has been getting familiar with my new job and most of my free time that I spend with the community has been focused on presenting in person, rebuilding TTSSUG and a project with Paul Turley (more on this soon).

I have been doing more international presentations in my work region such as Jamaica, St Lucia, Curacao and Puerto Rico but in June I decided to stretch my community duties a little more by submitting a speaker proposal for Microsoft Ignite 2016.

In 2015, Microsoft Ignite was launched as a multi-conference replacement for 6 Microsoft events (Management Summit, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project and TechEd conferences). Channel 9 description for this year conference is:

“The best and brightest minds will be all in one place to talk cloud infrastructure and management, productivity, big data and the internet of things, unified communications, mobility and more. So welcome, thinkers. And get ready for a glimpse at what’s possible today and in the future.”

I'm super excited and extremely honored to be chosen to present my session - Leverage SQL Server tips for developers. After my presentation tomorrow and for the rest of the week, I will be at the Expo in Hall B at the Microsoft Showcase – Data Platform and IoT so feel free to drop in and say hello. Hope to see you there!
